It gets marginally better with a smoothie made with kale, spinach, a few almonds, blueberries, a banana and water. Clean, but warm and reminds me of rubber gloves and scrubbing toilets back in my cleaner days.

Whoever told you lemon water is delicious and refreshing is absolutely full of shit. I start out in the morning with a big old glass of lemon and hot water. So, really, all it takes is 3 days to start feeling better and back to yourself. Usually I’m hacking so hard I’m peeing a little in my pants (ok, not really, but you get the idea). But even the cough isn’t so bad, surprisingly. I haven’t taken a single thing for my cold and it’s nearly gone, apart from the cough that usually lingers for a month thanks to my horrible smoking habit. The day before I started, I fell ill with the spring cold that’s traveling around, germs invading every part of Quinte. I’ve been doing just a simple 3 day cleanse, and I feel so good, I may continue it on for a few more days. I resigned myself to the fact that once the Easter Eating Fest with my family was over, I’d need to clean out the ole body.

I came home from Cuba with this beautiful tan and skin like a goddess, and the dry weather + crappy eating habits turned me into a weathered old lady with a crater face. I wasn’t really prepared for how much coming home to this weather would effect me, nor how much school and work I would have piled up. When you randomize your ROM, you can choose to apply a few minor tweaks which make the experience more enjoyable in the environment you're likely to be playing the randomized game in. There are small things it does to give you a better experience. For example, a trainer's random Pokemon will not suddenly use moves they were predefined to use in the original game - they will fully obey the (randomized or not) movesets they have been provided with. A decent amount of attention to detail has been invested in this randomizer and so pesky parts of the original games are unlikely to show through. By sending a couple of pieces of text or a small file you can easily make sure everyone has the exact same game to play with, without having to send around the entire ROM every time. An important part of Pokemon is competition, and racing your friends to complete a particular random Pokemon game can be a great experience. You can easily create the same random game repeatedly.
